Reach: 30 feet

Duration: 1 minute, using Concentration

Effect: You heat any metal near, making it turn red.

Choose 1 object made of metal within reach, such as a weapon or armor for example. That object becomes incredibly hot, and burns any creature touching it.

Any creature touching that object must then make an Endurance Save. On a fail, it takes 2d8 fire damage. On a success, it takes only half that damage.

If the object is a weapon or Shield, that creature becomes Disarmed (also dropping the Shield) on failed Save. If the object is an Armor, that creature also becomes Ignited (1d8) on a failed Save.

Once per round, while Concentrating on this spell, you can also use your Action to repeat this effect on the same object.

Upcast: If you upcast this spell, you can increase this damage by 1d8 for each level upcasted.
