Duration: 10 minutes, using Concentration

Effect: You conjure the pure burning essence of the forbidden yellow flames.

Choose 1 point within reach. The area within 20 feet of that area becomes covered by yellow flames in the shape of a giant floating eye.

A creature that starts its turn inside this area, or enters in this area for the first time during their turn must make an Agility Save. That creature takes 6d8 fire damage on a fail, or half as much on a success.

That creature also becomes Ignited (1d8) regardless if it fails or succeeds on this Save.

A creature that takes this fire damage or that looks directly to these flames must make an Insight Save. On a fail, that creature takes 6d8 psychic damage and becomes Confused. On a success, it only takes half this psychic damage. A creature makes this Insight Save only once per round. Creatures that are Ignited automatically fail this Insight Save.

If the flames are high up and there are no obstacles blocking its view, they can be seen from across 5 miles away.

You must then succeed on a Concentration Save (DC 15) after you cast this spell, or become Confused.

Curse: The yellow flame burns your mind, and it becomes stronger while your mind is unstable. While Confused, you automatically become Ignited (1d6).
