Effect: You create a devastating Lightning Spear

Make 1 Ranged Attack within reach. On a hit, the target takes 8d12 electric damage. 

On a miss, you can make the Lightning Spear explode instead, and the target must make a Reflex Save, taking 8d12 electric damage on a fail, or half as much on a success.

If the target takes any electric damage from this spell, it must also succeed on an Endurance Save, or become Contained for 1 turn.

Upcast: If you upcast this spell, you can increase this damage by 1d12 for each level upcasted.
