Anti-Spell Field

Duration: 1 hour, using Concentration

Effect: You block all magic within you.

When a creature within reach (including yourself) casts a spell, that spell fails and has no effect. In addition the effect of any magic within reach also end, as if by the effects of the Dispell spell.

However, Special Items and magical creatures still retain their innate powers and are not affected by the field. But if such a creature or item casts a spell, that spell still fails.

The effect of spells outside the field cannot extend to the field either. If the area of a spell such as Fireball would extend to this field, the field would suppress that effect, making any creature in the field unaffected.

The same goes for Attacks made with spells. If a creature outside the field makes an Attack with a spell against a creature inside this field, that Attack would fail.

The exception to this is the effects of another Anti-Spell Field spell. In this case, both fields would cancel each other out, making both spells ends. Another exception is the  Dispell spell, which could end and destroy the Anti-Spell Field. However, the Checks from the Dispell spell are made with disadvantage when trying to stop be Anti-Magic Field.
