Water Tentacles

Type: Quick Spell, using an Action

Reach: 60 feet

Duration: 1 minute, using Concentration

Effect: You create 3 tentacles made of water.

Choose up to 3 Large or smaller creatures within reach. Those creatures must succeed on a Brawling Save or become grappled by a water tentacle.

While grappled, the creature is considered to be underwater, it becomes Immobilized, and it takes 1d10 strike damage at the start of each of its turns.

In addition, if an Attack would hit a target within 10 feet of the grappled creature, you can use your Reaction to redirect the Attack to the grappled creature instead.

As an Action, the grappled creature can repeat the Brawling Save, breaking free on a success.

Once per round, while Concentrating on this spell, you can use an Action to attempt to grapple creatures again with all free water tentacles that are not already grappling someone.

Upcast: You create 1 additional water tentacle for each level upcasted.
