Hologram

Illusion School – Level 1

Type: Quick Spell, using an Action

Reach: 60 feet

Duration: 1 hour, using Concentration

Effect: You create a holographic illusion within reach.

The holographic illusion can be any image in a 15-foot cube. You can also animate that image, giving the impression it’s moving. If a creature touches the illusion, the image becomes distorted and transparent, revealing itself to be an illusion. You can make a person walking, a threatening monster, or anything else of your choosing, for example.

You can control and move the image after you cast the spell as long as the image is within the spell’s reach. The image does not contain any sound.

A creature can make an Investigation Check to analyze the image, determining that it is an illusion on a success. The DC for this Check is equal to 10 + your Spell Skill if the image does not need to include sound. If it would make sense for the image to include sound, then this DC is equal to your Spell Skill only.

If the spell is used in combat, all creatures must make an Investigation save instead when you cast the spell. If it would make sense for the image to include sound, then they make this Investigation save with advantage. A creature must then repeat this save at the end of its turn while believing that the image is not an illusion.
